Have you ever watched a demonstration of a renewed life? Most of us probably have at some point. Like when a plant is dry, wilted, and hanging on to existence. Now, let’s consider what occurs when someone adds a refreshing cup of water. Life begins to be restored into the plant.
But, whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst: But, the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life ~ John 4:14
Aqua de Vida has seen how God uses people to bring hope and help time and time again. How Jesus can change our hopeless. How when a simple gesture of giving plastic to help protect from the climate or blessing kids with a hot meal or restoring hope…. all this and much more, now imagine the gift of water
Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” John 7:37-38
With guidance from Father God. We were able to get in contact with a well drilling company (Christian based here in Nicaragua) and turn this dry vas land in Xiloa that is surrounded by multiplied homes into a source of living flowing waters. With the provisions provided through Jesus touching partners hearts, a new water well (170ft) plus a washroom, lavadora and shelter was added to a community of close to 55 homes. Even through all the storms and earthquake that took place, it did not stop God’s grace upon us. Daily we were fighting battles of what was out of my hand but in control of God. Personally, I felt a little weary…. I couldn’t let this show, why? Because for those moments all eyes are on me, the walking Jesus lover. Our light needs to shine during all storms because of the faith we be still in our hearts and soul for the one who sets us free. Almighty God, our Savior Jesus Christ, the living Holy Spirit that dwells in all of us…. Hallelujah!!!
Certain things in life are absolutely necessary. We need air to breathe. We need water. We also need hope. Life without hope is difficult, if not impossible. The Bible describes the Spirit as “rivers of living water”
Aqua de Vida ministry is proud to serve in Nicaragua and is honored to be a guest in many locations here spreading the love of Jesus while repairing wells and now this will make the 2nd well drilled here. In the photos you will see a transformation take place in the lives of this community. How they came together in unity, how they started planting plants, fruit trees, taking pride in washing clothes, all this is not possible without partnerships along with the touch of God
